Rep. Ilhan Omar Includes Obama In Attack Against Targeted Drone Strikes

Once more we see Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. back in the front page, this time her attacks not only were directed at Trump but now include Obama as well, something that is not sitting well with Democrats. The reason, drone strikes on terrorist, I guess she feels we should let them go on their merry way when we find them.

While I am in favor of the Geneva convention, I am not if the other side is following it. War should have rules, but if the other side refuses to abide by them, should we? This is partly why we end up losing every conflict we are involved with in the Middle East.

You may not like it, but in the Middle East, if there is one nation that follows the Geneva Convention please show it to me, I have never seen it, yet after burning alive, beheading without trial, they demand we extend this to their fighters, I say enough of this, if you are going to suspend the rules of warfare, you have no right to cry foul when it is suspended against you.

The reason we lose the wars, these fighters are willing to do anything, including using chemical weapons on their own people, anything we do, less than this is seen as a weakness, something that should be exploited. Giving quarter to terrorist, after they have bound up their victims in pipes, then threw them from buildings head first seems to be far too kind, I would not shed a tear if we dropped a couple of MOABS on the camps we now hold ISIS fighters in, sure would be nicer then what they did to their victims.

I hear from others that we are better than this, but I ask, how many lives are lost due to this? We try to deal humanely with these people, they, in turn, do the most horrible things, then along comes a bleeding heart, like Olmar, acts like we are the only ones committing crimes against humanity. But let me ask, “Are terrorist protected by the Geneva Convention, Rep. Olmar? Shouldn’t hey would be in the same category as spies, are they give n any special protections?” Seems the Courts don’t agree with you.

We ran into this in WW2, German infiltrators came to the US in U Boats, came ashore, shed their German Uniforms, changed into civilian cloths, then set about to sabotage American Targets. These people were caught in New York and Florida, they were then in turn reprimanded to Military tribunals as spies, their attorneys fought this, all the way up to the Supreme Court.

In a unanimous decision delivered by Chief Justice Harlan Fiske Stone, the court determined that the German agents had violated the law of war and that a “military commission was lawfully constituted” to try them for that crime. Thus, declared the Supreme Court, “the motions for leave to file petitions for writs of habeas corpus are denied.” (Ex Parte Quirin, 317 U.S. 1 (1942))

It seems today the left has forgotten this, if you commit terror on American Soil, which our bases are considered as such, you are not given the right to a civil court, as stated in this case, the 5th and 6th amendment does not apply here, surely doesn’t overseas.

It would seem, as a US Congress member, Olmar and her friends, like AOC and others on the fringe left would do well to remember this, supporting terrorist, trying to shield them from punishment or justice, that is aiding and abetting the enemy, they may want to think about whose side they are one.

And let me ask Ms. Olmar, is your problem with the drone strikes about the fact that the ones being killed are a Muslim terrorist, you know like they have in the Muslim Brotherhood, whom you openly support? I, as a rule, don’t do this, but I will make an exception in your case, you are not my Congresswoman, as such I recognize you as an enemy of the state, for it is you, not I that are supporting our enemies and attacking our allies, I have to ask, why is this treasonous person even in office?
